Flight Examination

The Federal Aviation Administration has authorized me to conduct the following flight exams (aka, Check rides):
Aiplane: Sport Pilot, Sport Pilot CFI, Recreational, Private, Instrument, Commercial, ATP, Multi-Engine, CFI, CFII, CFI ME & Initial CFI
Helicopter: Private, Instrument, Commercial, CFI (including Initial), CFII & SFAR 73 Endorsements

Additionally, I can issue all ground instructor certificates and renew unexpired CFI certificates without doing a checkride or going to the FSDO. Contact us for more details.

Examination Fees:
Check rides: $800.00 (Retest within 60 days: $400.00)
Initial CFI: $1600.00 (Retest $800.00)

Certificate & Processing Fees:
Student Pilot Certificate: $75.00
Ground Instructor Certificate Processing: $75.00
SOE and Restricted ATP Limitations removed: $75.00
Flight Instructor Renewal Processing (No check ride required): $75.00
SIC type ratings:$75.00
Restricted Private pilot certificate issued to Foreign Pilot $150.00
US Military Competency paperwork processing $75.00

Credit Card & PayPal
An additional $25 charge is added to check ride fees when using a credit card or PayPal.  An additional $5 charge is added to Certificate & Processing fees.  This is done to cover the cost the bank charges me.

The majority of my checkrides are given at JVL.  I will travel to accommodate student and instructor requests but travel fees will apply.  Please give me a call to discuss.  608-290-4700

Travel Fees = Billed at $185.00 per hour for use of the Cessna 182.
